Transcription: [double-headed eagle] ROOSTER Tiny, exquisite figure of a Rhode Island Red rooster, carved from a piece of veined gray and brown agate. The natural coloring of the stone is admirably suited to representing the coloring of this famous chicken. Each of its eyes is set with a sparkling diamond, and its feet are delicately fashioned in solid gold. The rooster was designed by the celebrated court jeweler to Nikolai II, Carl Faberge, and was executed by his talented young sculptor, Kremlov. Mrs. John L.
