Transcription: [double-headed eagle] G. 5. Miniature picture frame by CARL G. FABERGE, the Russian Court jeweler. It is executed in unusually small dimensions in solid gold with a jade center surrounding the tiny opening for a picture. Concentric fluted gold rims separate these areas. The jade is of a dark spotted green and in contrast to it a pale mauve enamel is employed everlaid [sic] by an interweaving green-gold wreath. At top a ribbon with bow and loose ends is fixed bearing a ruby in the center. It is mounted with a gold easel. $275.00
