Material specific details:
Curatorial and archives staff strong preference is for the portfolio to be shown flat, including the cover, opening statement, and all 14 photographs. It should be displayed as closely as possible to its unframed portfolio format in an exhibition case, not on the wall. If the portfolio components must be hung on the wall, the strong preference is for a minimal mat that allows the signatures and image edges to be seen.
