This sub-series contains material on various clubs Lawrence Cox was involved with. Most of the clubs in this sub-series are private clubs and not believed to be specifically work related. These include fraternities and fraternal organizations like Sigma Nu, Lambda Alpha, and the Fraternal Order of Police. They include historical clubs such as the Children of the Confederacy, the Sons of the American Revolution, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy (Cox's mother was involved in this). Also included are various country clubs and other clubs that Cox was involved with. Material is arranged alphabetically, and dates from 1931 to 1998.
