Scope and content:

This sub-series includes photographs of individual women such as Cheryl Marks, former Executive Director of YWCA; Irene Leache, a collector of art; Mrs. C.P. Shaw, founding President of Norfolk YWCA, 1911; Mary Sue Terry, former Virginia Attorney General; Lt. D.A. Reid, first woman Navy Physician stationed aboard a ship; and the Woman Suffrage statue in the U.S. Capitol Building (Elizabeth Stanton, Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony).
