Scope and content:

This series contains newspapers including loose newspaper articles clippings from the Virginian Pilot, New Journal and Guide (Norfolk) and Afro-American (Richmond), and magazines such as the Equal Right Amendment (ERA), National Organization of Women (NOW), World YWCA Common Concerns, and the YWCA Magazine covering events such as programs, meetings, elections, domestic violence, demonstrations, youth activities and politics.
