Stereoscopic view of the Washington Monument from the northwest. A man sits upon a railing next to the Potomac River. The area was eventually dredged at the beginning of the 20th century. Mounted on gray board. The publishers imprint on the front of the card reads: European Publishers, Underwood Underwood/London/Ltd., New York Ottawa, Kas., Works, Arlington, N. J. The reverse of the card includes information about the monument and titles in five different languages.
