- Stereoscopic view of the west front of the Mansion. A man stands on the Mansion circle courtyard and several individuals are in front of the central entrance. Mounted on orange board. At the right edge, two small holes have been punched through the cardboard mount. The photographer's imprint on the stereograph mount reads, N. G. Johnson, Photographer, 426 7th St., Washington D. C. Only Authorized Publisher of Mount Vernon Views. The reverse of the stereograph has an adhered printed label - Mt. Vernon Mansion, West, or Original Front. Originally built in 1743 by Lawrence Washington, and extended in 1784-5 by General Washington. It is 96 feet long by 30 feet wide. N. G. Johnson, Photographer, 426 7th St., Washington, D. C.
