Physical description:
Statue of George Washington by Thomas Ball on display in the Fine Arts Building during the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. The sculpture was commissioned by Mr. Edward Searles of Methuen, Massachusetts and was sculptured in Italy. At the close of the exposition, the statue was moved to the Searles Estate. Mounted on a peach colored board. The title is preprinted on the front of the mount. Copyright 1894, photograph and published by B. W. Kilburn, Littleton, N. H.
