Appears to be wearing a uniform underneath his coat. The photographer's printed information on the reverse reads: G. J. Bowrow. Photographer, 16 King St., St. John, N. B. [New Brunswick] and is adorned with a lion, unicorn and a oval framed profile of the man with a crown atop the frame.
