Brady Co. in the year 1865 in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the District of Columbia. The reverse bears a 2 cent, Blue U. S. Internal Revenue Proprietary revenue stamp and the photographer's stamp: Brady's National Photographic Portrait Galleries No. 352 Pennsylvania Av. Washington, D. C. Broadway Tenth St. New York.
