- Set of 50 lantern slides, black and white, of primarily portraits of George Washington by various artists. The set is created by the Pennsylvania State Museum. Artists include: George Miller, illustration from Washington Irving, Charles Willson Peale, Jean-Antoine Houdon, James Peale, Rembrandt Peale, Dr. William Rush, Hiram Powers, Cerrachi, Vallée, Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller, John Trumbull, John Ramage, Joseph Wright, Gilbert Stuart, Folwell and unidentified artists. Includes two portraits of Martha Washington and Mary Philipse and views of several of historic sites - George Washington Masonic Memorial, Wall Street (New York) with statue of Washington, tomb and Mansion at Mount Vernon, and Sulgrave Manor. Housed in a wooden, hinged box.
