Physical description:
Glass negative (right frame) of stereoscopic view of gate to the south entrance to the upper garden. A sign posted at the entrance and duplicated within the gate reads: 'Visitors are respectfully informed that they cannot be allowed to break or injure the shrubs or flowers.' The pathway from the entrance ends at the greenhouse where two men pose near the doorway to the structure. Possibly by Alexander Gardner, 1866-1875. Remnants of tape are visible along the edges of the glass.
