Stereoscopic view of the tomb of George Washington, c. 1870. Identical to a view taken by Alexander Gardner. Mounted on yellow board. Stamp on the reverse reads: Mount Vernon Ladies' Association Office of Research and Restoration. A handwritten name in pencil reads Mrs. Gordon Woodbury [Vice Regent for New Hampshire] and May 1875.
