- Stereoscopic view of Mansion's south lumber room, once believed to have been occupied by Mrs. Washington upon George Washington's death and formally titled 'Mrs. Washington's Bed Room or Chamber.' Later determined that Mrs. Washington resided in a different chamber on the third floor of the Mansion. Mounted on orange board. The publisher's imprint on the front of the stereograph mount reads: N. G. Johnson, Photographer, 317 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D. C. Only Authorized Publisher of Mt. Vernon Views. Label adhered on the reverse reads: Martha Washington's Bed Chamber, the same when she occupied after his death, and where she died in 1802. Copyright by the Mount Vernon Association.
