Albumen print on cabinet card mount of head-and-shoulders portrait of Lily Lytle Macalester [later Mme. Alfred Berghmans; later Mrs. John Scott Laughton], member of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association, Vice Regent for Pennsylvania (1859-1891) and Regent (1874-1891). The cardboard mount has gold embossed edges. The photographer's stamp on the reverse reads: Luke C. Dillon, Photographer to Mount Vernon, Office at Pullman's Gallery, No. 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, P.O. Box 655, Washington, D. C.
