Cabinet card of the Washington bedchamber with a view of the bedstead and furnishings. Ink stamps on the reverse read: Photographic views of Mount Vernon, Home of Washington. For Sale by J. Norman Gibbs, Lunch Rooms outside the Grounds. Home of Washington, Mount Vernon, Va. Washington's Room and Bedstead in which he died, 14th Dec. 1799. A pencil note reads: Mrs. C__ (illegible) Lee (1 of 6).
