Cabinet card of the Washington bedchamber with a view of the bedstead and furnishings. Text printed directly onto the reverse of the cardboard mount reads: Washington's Room and the Bed on which he Died. Copyright Luke C. Dillon, Photographer to Mount Vernon, Office at Pullman's Gallery, 935 Penn. Avenue, Washington, D. C. The reverse of the card is signed by Elizabeth L. Wills, Dec. 17, 1889. The photograph was give by Anna Rutledge on September 24, 1954.
