Physical description:
Cabinet card of the north wall of the front or west parlor at Mount Vernon. The view includes the fireplace, room furnishings and opened door to the new room. Washington's terrestrial globe is positioned behind the opened door. The engraved portrait of Louis XVI hangs on the far right. An ink stamp on the reverse reads: Luke C. Dillon, Photographer, P.O. Box 655, Washington City, D. C.
