Cabinet card of the north wall of the front or west parlor at Mount Vernon. The view includes the fireplace, room furnishings and opened door to the new room. Washington's terrestrial globe is positioned behind the opened door. The following text is printed directly onto the reverse of the cardboard mount: Illinois Room, Mount Vernon Mansion.
