Cabinet card of the east front of the Mansion from the southeast lawn, by Luke C. Dillon, 1884-1891. A man can be seen sitting on a bench on the piazza. Mounted on tan board. Photograph dates between 1884-1891, prior to Windsor chairs being added to the piazza in 1891.The photographer's stamp appears on the reverse: Luke C. Dillon, Photographer to Mount Vernon, Office at Pullman's Gallery, No. 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, P. O. Box 655, Washington, D. C.
