Black and white horizontal image of the Mansion's east front, taken from the northeast. A person can be seen sitting on the east lawn. Handwriting on the reverse reads: 'Mt Vernon From album of (illegible name and address), 1862 - 1872. A portion of an orange, two cent stamp also appears on the reverse.
