Tinted black and white photograph of Ellen Lovell Crosby seated in "George Washington's Chair" next to a table with candelabras, silver, floral arrangements and an American flag at the bicentennial celebration of Washington's birth held at the Women's Club in Marietta, Georgia on February 22, 1932. Crosby is the great-great-granddaughter of Fielding Lewis and Betty Washington Lewis. Handwritten provenance for the items displayed in the picture are on the reverse. Photograph is mounted in an embossed paper frame decorated with a cut-out of a female figure.
