Physical description:

Black and white photograph of three unidentified visitors outside the west front of the Mansion at Mount Vernon. The visitors include two women and one man standing near the opened doorway leading to the central passage. A handwritten note at the top of the photograph reads, "on the back steps, Mount Vernon, July 10 - 1896." The photograph is adhered to a cardboard mount with embossed edges.
