Black and white photograph of the laundry yard fence which meets with the west side of the coach house. The the back sides of the coach house, wash house, smokehouse, and circle storehouse along the south lane face the laundry yard. A portion of the bricked lower garden wall is seen at right. A handwritten description on the reverse of the image in blue ink reads, "Picture taken at Mount Vernon, VA. Farm Building's of Washington's Estate."
