The photographer's sticker and stamp is found on the reverse as well as the following caption: NEW VIEW OF MT. VERNON GARDENS. A new view of the beautiful gardens a historic Mt. Vernon, showing in the background the slaves' quarters, which were occupied when George Washington was master of the estate. Rare old boxwoods occupy a large part of the landscaping.
