Claypoole's American Daily Advertiser [Number 1767, April 3, 1800] includes a character description of Washington from a London newspaper, The Courier featured on page 3, column 3-4. Says Washington was 68 when he died. Also gives his height as 5 feet 11 inches. An advertisement for artist Edward Savage's 'A New Exhibition, Gallery of Paintings..' is found on page 2, column 1. A portion of pages 3-4 has been clipped.
