A.L.S. 1 page. Baltimore to Audley. Upon examining Genl. [Zachary] Taylor's papers, came across letter to her without an address--encloses it to her--Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Bliss overcome by their bereavement [Taylor's death] [Bliss was Taylor's son-in-law]. Autograph letter signed, cover, postmarked "Baltimore Md. [ ] 17," stamped with early 5 cent stamp, watermark.
