Autograph letter signed with integral address panel. Suffolk to Berryville. Robert R. Prentis, a lawyer in Suffolk, responds to a request by Lorenzo Lewis passed on to him from Bushrod Corbin Washington to obtain a decree for the sale of the interest for lands from the estate of George Washington lying in Nansemnond County and held by the firm of Washington Walker Co. Prentis advises Lewis that the land is of little value and that it would be better to sell the entire tract.
