Reports a visit by Augustine Washington, clearing up a mix-up by revealing that Mr. Washington had failed to mail an earlier letter he had taken from Lawrence Lewis to Lorenzo, for Mrs. Lewis had found the letter several days later on the mantel at Mount Vernon. Also advice about the sale and purchase of horses.
