Denies her last letter was cold, altho it had melancholy note--Mamma [Christian Blackburn] will go down to [Alexandria] soon, and she herself plans to visit [Ann] too--Sally [Offitt Craufurd] will write; she looks badly, hopes smallpox will be of value to her delicate frame. Autograph letter signed, integral cover, laminated, directed by Mr. Seton, watermark.
