A.L.S. 2 pages. Rippon Lodge. Sends by Mr. Ben Orr the patterns and padlock--Brother [Richard S. Blackburn] goes to Richmond but too cold for little Jane [Blackburn] to go--Mamma [Christian Blackburn] will bring her later--dined at Mr. Graham's, pleasant company there--Mrs. Barnes has recovered her senses--Mr. Orr went without letter, so sends it by stage and sends other things by Brother. Autograph letter signed, integral cover, laminated, cover marked "Intended to have been sent by Mr. Ben Orr. S.C.", and "Stage." Name on original manuscript appears as "S. Craufurd."
