Endorsed in hand of General Washington on reverse "Thompson to Rose Bargain and Sale 14th March 1688" and also in another hand. Signed on reverse by Thompson and witnesses. Sale acknowledged on May 8, 1689, by Richard Gibson and Ma [ ] Thompson.
