Regent cannot act to relieve financial embarrassments of Devereux and Co.--information reaches her that George Devereux has no other support for his family since financial crisis except money furnished for Mt. Vernon Record and Portraits--demands to know if this is true--must have written agreement about Portraits to be supplied Mt.
