A 4" x 6" Envelope on which James McFarland had written "J. N. McFarland Valuable Papers." A square piece of paper on which James McFarland had written "The death of my dear brothers and sisters died December 1869" while on the back an unknown hand had written "Rev. F. McFarland Ming Spring. A paper listing distances to various locations in Tennessee. A handwritten fragmented copy of the Act of Virginia Ratifying the Constitution of the U.S. A paper with "VI" in the top center. A note written by Francis McFarland about the grafting of several fruit trees in the spring of 1856. Article of agreement between Charles Palmer and George Palmer. Article of agreement between Charles Palmer and A. A. McPhisher (sic)
