Biographical / historical:

Brothers Oray Madison "Ora" Davis, Sr., born August 17, 1892, William Alexander "Willie" Davis, born 1894, and Paul Foutz Davis, born on May 4, 1896, were the sons of Matthew Ellis Davis and Louisa "Lula" Baxter Crist.

The three oldest children of eight, of Charles Dice Denit and Bettie Ann Brown of Salem, Virginia, were Charles Edwin Denit, born 1890, Guy Blair Denit, born September 28, 1891, and Elsie Brown Denit, born 1893, who married Henry T. Kent.

Francis Jewett Dunn was married to Brooke Ruble. The couple raised their family in Lexington, Virginia,
