Biographical / historical:

Victoria P. Friedensen holds an Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and and Master of Science from Virginia Tech. Her career has included positions at the National Academy of Science and the National Academy of Engineering. At the time of this interview, Friedensen was a civilian employee at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), where she was the acting program manager of the Lunar Precursor Robotic Program.
