Commander Tom A. Magno spent 22 years as a United States Navy flight officer, piloting E-2 Hawkeyes and F-14A/F-14B Tomcats. He accrued 2500 flight hours/650+ arrested landings, and saw combat tours in Libya (1986), Bosnia (1993), and Iraq (Operation Desert Shield, 1990). Magno retired in 2003.
