Lieutenant Colonel William P. Saunders served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Commander (AC-47), Flight Scheduler, 4th Special Operations Squadron at Bien Thuy Air Base/Bien Hoa Air base, Republic of Vietnam. He served with the Air Force through 1988.
