Biographical / historical:

Terry J. Davis commissioned in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in April 1968 and entered active duty at Fort Bliss, Texas in September. He was assigned to the 1st Air Cavalry Division, serving in the Vietnam War from September 1969 to June 1970. Davis was a forward observer attached to an infantry company responsible for patrolling the jungles in the region known as the "corridors" to Saigon. He also participated in the invasion of Cambodia.
