Colonel Wesley L. Fox enlisted in the United States Marines on August 4, 1950, and served two tours with the 1st Marine Division in Korea. He commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1966, and was first assigned to the 2nd Force Reconnaissance. He subsequently had numerous other assignments during his long and distinguished career. Fox's many decorations include the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart.
