Biographical / historical:

Edward Feightner was designated as a Naval Aviator in 1942, commissioned as an Ensign from that date, and subsequently progressed in rank to that of Rear Admiral 1971. During his distinguished career, he served in World War II as an Engineering Officer for various squadrons that operated in the Pacific theater. He was a test pilot and a member of the "Blue Angels," and has over twenty years of experience in command of squadrons, airwings, ships, training units, and major staffs.
