Scope and content:

This subseries includes playbills from the city of Philadelphia. One playbill from Pittsburgh's Nixon Theatre is included at the end of the Philadelphia pre-1934 playbills. Theatres include The Academy of Music, Broad Street Theatre, The Erlanger Theatre, Forrest Theatre, The Goldman Theatre, The Little Theatre, The New Locust Theatre, Playhouse, Shubert Theatre, Society Hill Playhouse, Valley Forge Music Fair, Walnut Theatre, and The University of Pennsylvania.
