Subseries C: Dick Clark, 1953/2006

Richard Lee "Dick" Clark served in numerous positions in the RATC from the 1980s to 2010s, including hikemaster (1984-1994), vice president (1998-2000), president (2000-2003), and counselor (2003-2015). Clark was appointed by the Roanoke City Council to serve on the Mill Mountain Advisory Committee from 1999 to 2014, and he served as vice chair during his tenure. He also served as a former president of the Windsor Lake Corporation, who take care of the area around Windsor Lake in Roanoke.
Clark graduated from the University of Virginia and taught mathematics at Franklin County High School and Ferrum College.
Clark died at the age of 87 on May 9, 2026.
