Scope and content:

1889-1943. Architect and inventor from Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. First registered woman architect in Pennsylvania and inventor of the K-brick. Designed the Decker Home in Bellefonte. Papers include a copy of an article by her, "Modern Wall Construction" from the 1932 issue of The Clay-Worker, information about her ideas concerning kitchen design, copies of patents for a combination sink and laundry tub, photographs, and biographical information. Added in 2002 biographical materials authored, or collected by, her niece Nancy Perkins. Includes a CD-ROM documenting her life in application for state marker, articles and exhibit programs. Also has material on VT Imagebase. Finding aid available on the Virginia Heritage database.
