In this magazine, the accounts of firefighters from Ishinomaki are recorded a year after the tragedy. It is divided into 7 sections: an overview of Ishinomaki before the disaster, an overview of the earthquake and tsunami, the damage situation broken down by type, the area-wide fire department activities report, activities reports from each fire brigade, the records from the emergency fire rescue squad, a look back at the disaster, and materials relating to the disaster like photographs and a staff list from the time of the disaster. 6 firefighters were killed while responding to the disaster.
