Scope and content:

This series is prodominately minutes and ordinances created by the Danville Town, and later City, Councils. City Council records are indicated as records that were not explicity created by one of the houses of council, either the Board of Aldermen or the Common Council. See Series I: Subseries A or B for records known to have been created specifically by the Board of Alderman or the Common Council.
