Scope and content:

Contains a variety of Land Office records, including abstracts of titles, memoranda of numbers that have been skipped or are missing, unrecorded caveats, certificates, surveys, receipts, exchange warrants, and a list of the amount of fees for copies of grants. There is also a handdrawn map showing an area of Buckingham County along the James River, near Alexander Farm, and a set of land grants issued to Chester H. Markham in 1928.
