This series was maintained in its original order and is organized by Legislation file numbers. The term 'Legislative' is misleading because all of the papers in this collection relate to legislation. Rather each folder was labeled 'Legis' followed by a number and it was gathered that Legis possibly stood for legislation.

Includes correspondence, bills and resolutions, clippings, publications, reports and studies, and press releases on a variety of legislation and topics. Included is information on the appointment of court officials, banks and mortgages, unemployment, health insurance, child care, and the proposed merger of Roanoke city and county.
