Arranged into two (2) subseries: Correspondence and Other Materials, 1987-1989; and Financial Files, 1987-1989. Contains correspondence and financial information relating to the events surrounding the 175th Anniversary of the Executive Mansion. The Citizens' Advisory Council on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion (formerly the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion) was responsible for the developing of activities and events for the celebration. Members of the Citizens' Advisory Council on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion transferred these files to the Office of the Director of the Executive Mansion in 1987.
